Jami's Story
From UGA accounting grad to trusted tax ally
Jami Barkley holds an accounting degree from the University of Georgia and founded JLG Finance in 2010 after years in the field. What started as a solo tax practice has grown into a warm, personal firm helping individuals, families, and small businesses across the country.
Over 16+ years, Jami earned her Enrolled Agent (EA) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations, and she's currently a candidate for CFP® certification. She's a power user of Family Law Software and RightCapital — bringing serious analytical horsepower to every plan.
But ask her clients and they'll tell you it's the how that sets her apart: responsive, diligent, refreshingly easy to work with — and yes, a proud cat person who believes finances, like a good feline, should be well-fed, well-groomed, and calmly in control.
